1)What were some of the reasons cited in the article why there was a need to have parking lots for women only in these buildings?
Some women have to take their children(below 10 years old) to the shopping malls and it is easier to park near the lifts.


2a) In your opinion, do you think it is necessary to allocate parking lots for women only? Why?
Yes. It is more convenient for them to go to the shopping malls and do not need to wait so long for the carpark lots.

2b)Which group of people do you then feel should be allocated such priority parking? Explain.
Pregnant women,women with kids below 10years old and the elderlys. They should have more rights as some elderlys have diffculties walking so they should have priority parking so they do not need to wait for a long time and walk for a long distance.

Article: “Help for single mums in downturn” – ‘Main’ Section

1)What project was launched to help single mums?Briefly explain what is this project about?
It is launched yesterday by the labour movement to mark International Women's Day.The project is called"WeCare for U."Single mums will be able to find a job,with the help from the labour movement and can also join support groups that arranged activites for them and their children in these trying times.


2)Imagine you come across a single mum who is unemployed, what are some advice you can give her? Who can she turn to?
I will help her to pack her house and give some of my things and clothes to her children to use and wear and bring her to the labour movement to look for jobs.

1)What are some reasons stated in the article why some people choose to have body art like tattoos or piercings done on parts of their body.
The first reason is they want to be different from others.The second reasonis they want to try something new.

2a) What are some imppressions you would form of a person whose body is covered with tattoo?
I would think that he/she is nt a good person and i will have negative impression on him.

b) Would you consider getting a tattoo in future? Why?
No.It is painful and expensive and if u regret and wanted to remove,it wolud be more expensive and the treatment is very painful.

Article: “Sharp rise in girls under 16 having sex” – Home Section

1)State any two reasons mentioned in the article which contributes to the sharp rise in girls under 16 having sex.
The firstreason is peer pressure.Some girls had sex as nearly all their friends were doing it.The second reason is they were initiated into sex earlier which was underage.

What are some consequences which a girl might face for engaging in casual sex?
They will get pregnant and they will regret.They had sex with a stranger and maybe the stranger will not bear reponsiblity.There will be also a high chance of getting Sexually Transmitted Diseases(STD).


2)What are some of your reactions after reading this article? If one day, a close friend of yours confess to you that he/she has been engaging in sex, what would your advice to him/her be?
I feel that underaged girls should not go have sex just because their friends are doing it.It will ruined their whole life and they will regret it..If my close friend tell me that he/she has been engaging in sex,I will advise her to stop it and tell her the consequences and help her.
